You should grease the input shaft on the transmission. It will help. If it has any rough spots where the TB slides, clean those up with 200grit sandpaper first to remove any burrs, then grease it, then reassemble it. That will guarantee smooth, quiet operation of the clutch.

FYI: The clutch fork and shift fork are totally different parts, but I understand what you meant. Others might not.
