My 96 Accord had 170k when I sold it about 3 mos. ago. Still running like day1, bought it with only 45k miles. Never had any problems, break downs, no-starts, etc. just routine maintenance and upkeep. Car is still running great w/ the new owner @ 175k miles. I just turned 6,000 miles on the new 06, only problem so far is an occasional rattle from the passenger side door panel.

Only car I've been in that had close to 300k miles was my best friend's 90 CRX w/ 275k miles. I went with him when he bought it from the original owner with 230k miles. He ran the hell out of it, and it just kept going. He just recently sold it and bought an 06 Nissan Titan.
