Well...I don't think we started at the same time. I only started posting here after Andrew took pictures of the AFA Predaking debacle to show you guys. I had an alternators collection, and a few TRU reissues before the full blown TF Plasti-crack addiction started. I kept them all in the closet in a big rubbermaid tub.
Andrew: "You should put those books on your book shelf away and display your transformers."
Me:  "You're right"
At that time my collection didn't even fill up the old book case. Then I started  I really don't have that much. Then a trip to ToyNK and Andrew talked me into the TFC insection set...then some more TFC's...then it became
"You have this many TFC's, might as well finish off the set." =
then
"You have most of the TRU's why not finish off those." =
then
"Look bro, these e-hobbies are great." =
then
"You have got to see these Transformers Cybertron episodes I have." =
Then after all the easy to find stuff became mine, the addiction moved onto the more expensive items...blue legs e-hobby megatron, black megatron, jafcon prime. MISB OG G1 Top-Spin, MISB OG G1 Kickback...:crazyr:
Next thing you know, I have an Orion Pax & Deion set that I swore I wouldn't get because I thought it was :ghey: . I want the e-hobby mini-bot set that I passed up. I've procrastinated on getting the e-hobby bugs.
Every once in a while I think "What in Odin's Raven have I done?". Guilt and remorse set in. But that doesn't last. When I come home from a long day at work, the TF's put a smile on my face. It's a stress releiver, and that is priceless to me.
It's a hobby and it's fun. It doesn't get in the way of my primary responsibilities or goals.
