You see thats actually what I am interested in. The "thick" part. I know 40 is thick but my question is - is it ok to use. One of my friends mentioned that as long as oil pump can pump 0W-40 at the same pressure/strenght to get it everywhere like 5W-20, then it should be ok. So that is my "worry" - can the oil pump deliver such a thick oil in all parts of engine the same way it can deliver 5w-20? What about Euro engines? Do they use engine oil pumps with higgher pressure?
