Hey Accord2005NJ You had been talking about this oil question quite a bit. Every time someone gives you there option you respond back with a lot of facts. It seems s like you know a lot about which engine oil to use. If you still have question if it is ok to use 0W-40. The answer is yes it is ok to use 0W-40. It is also ok to use 5w-20, 5w-30, 10w-30, 10w-40, etc. as long as the oil meets the minimum API rating. And most current oil does meet this rating. Honda only recommends that you use 5w-20 and does not required it. Go ahead and try out the 0W-40. If you’re still unsure about this, write a letter to Honda or Mobil corp. It seems like what ever we tell you, it would not be good enough.
