I would tell her to have her parents sell there M3 and get a kia. To me it seems like they are living beyond there means and since you've helped out before you'll help out time and time again. It's just going to get worse...it's 1100 now...what if it's 3300 later...or even 7800...what will you do then. To me it sounds like your wife is trying to make up for something her parents did to her in the past. I can understand helping ya parents out from time to time. But if they arent willing to do what they have to do to stay out of similar situations then you are going to find yourself very unhappy for a long time.
