Ok take mine and remove the icons.. There we go. I just found a new program that manages your icons like quick launch but much better. All my desktop icons show up in a seperate menu. It can also make new buttons when you open a program. Very cool I think.
you didn't need a new program for that.
right click desktop>>arrange icons by>>show desktop icons(deselect this)
right click task bar>>toolbars>>desktop(select this)
