yep. fortunately for me, my fiancee's dad is a diesel mechanic, so he has access to things like a hydraulic press. so we pulled out the knuckle, and brought it by his shop to swap the bearing. there is just no way i could have done it on my own. the press is a must.

i also remember we had a bitch of a time seperating the axle from the knuckle/bearing on the driver side. i'm not sure why, but i'm going to guess 9 or so winters - at that point - probably had something to do with that.
