99 Odyssey Draining Battery ?? Sliding door problem, also
My minivan started to have a dead battery every morning. I took it back to Sears to do a battery check (the Diehard battery was less than a year old) and they said that it looked good.
I turned the main overhead light switch off, so the lights did not come on when the doors were opened. That solved the problem for a few weeks. Then it started to happen again; my battery was dead every morning. I turned the main switch off for the power doors every time we got out of the car. That work, for about 2 months. Now, I am getting a dead battery again each morning.
Also, I have problems with my sliding door on the driver side locking by itself. I have to manually unlock the door from the inside before pulling the handle. This has been going on for well over a year.
Before I take it into the dealer and spend a fortune on this, does anyone have an idea on what could be draining the battery? My husband may be able to fix this...
Thanks!
