The reason most H23A/H22A combinations don't work that well is people don't realize there is a lot more to an LS/VTEC than just a VTEC head.
:yay: Thank-you, some people just be hatin the franks, you have to look at everything. A simple problem will make one run like garbage, my guy was running his with h22 cam gears and h23 gears on the block which was causing the timing belt to slip, the teeth on both gears arent the same, so he bought h23 cam gears and all better.
