The coil overs have two large castlenated nuts at the bottom (just like the rear shock on a motorcycle). They can be loosened and lowered or raised to compress or elongate the springs. If I raise the nut (which will compress the spring) will it raise the ride height? On a motorcycle it will raise the ride height a little bit but it will make the ride much harsher. Not knowing that much about car suspension my question is: will compressing the springs by effectively raising the lower spring perch raise the car while making the ride much stiffer?
