Quick question on Coilovers: If I raise the lock rings on the lower perch (increase preload) this will raise up the car right? I want to raise it back up about an inch. Will this make the ride alot harsher and shorten shock travel?

Bracing Question: I know where the front and rear strut braces go but where does the rear lower and H brace go? I've seen them advertised but cannot figure out where they would go. Do they (rear lower and H) help much?
