yea for that kind of money you could pick up a nice older corvette. Spend the 2 years of downtime bolting on the replacement and aftermarket parts it may need, and enjoy a really fun weekend car or daily driver if you wanted. This way you get a car with a fair amount of "sex on wheels" value, and its really cheap (in comparison to the rx-7) to modify and maintain
