my rims are +42 offset. they set just fine. right in line with the fenders and tuck under when driven hard. they don't rub and i've had no problems with my setup (besides that i need shocks...and there's endless weird squeaking...)

from what i know and hearing your case, roll your fenders anyway. you don't want it catching on the tires.
