alright, rather than taking out the battery and fluid resevoir, all I did was take out the bumper lights, then used an extension to get to the front bumper bolts, then I went under the hood and did the inner bumper bolt (1 each side), then I took out all of the bolts/screws holding the bumper to the wheel well and then across the front, the bumper slid right off. Had to be careful not to yank the light connectors from the light assemblies. Not a bad deal but glad I found out I had to take the bumper off.
