Alright first of all, very nice forum and I;m very glad I found it. Eeryone seems great and helpful.

On to the topic, I know NOTHING about cars, at all... I'm only 16 and a Junior in high school. I do have a part-time job, but it doesn't pay atoo good well and I have some other stuff to pay.

Recently I discovered that well... I need a car. My parents said that they would help me some but it's still my responsability to pay. My range is about $3,000-$4,500 so of course I'm going to get something used. After reseaching a bit and asking some people around I've come to the conclusion that a Honda Civic is my best bet.

I need a car that- looks decent and kinda nice. A car that is reliable and won't leave me stranded on the road. A car that doesn't use gas like crazy. A car that can last me a few years until I can get a real job and have more money. Basically, a decent car that I can use to get around town to do what I need to do. I will use it most of the time but my parents will also use it from time to time. We are a family of 4(mom, dad, me, and baby sister), so a 4-5 passanger car will be good.

A civic seems to fit with this... right? Well, this is why I came for you'r help guys. What Civic shoudl i get? What year and model? Remember, I really don't know much at all about cars so don't say some weird thing I won't understand Any and all suggestions will be greatly apreciated.
