I looked at an exploded view of the tranny and all the bearings that could make the noise. It's just cheaper for me to let it break, then swap on my other one. At least with this one the noise only happens on certain occasions. The last one I had on there would make the noise pretty much all the time, so I knew that one was going soon. The whole project wasn't a complete waste of time. the stock style Exedy clutch I got for it increased the pedal effort back to what it should have been, the Valeo (Autozone) pressure plate was just too soft, felt like there was no plate at all. Plus the throw out bearing was alittle notchy (which is what I thought it was). The pilot bearing is stock to the car and felt fine, so I left it alone. Scarey thought with 332,000 miles but "if it ain't broke", I usually will trying to replace it.
