If your car is already considered the benchmark, chainging it only wastes resources, and can hurt the resale value of the existing vehicles which makes return customers angry and hurts profitability on lease vehicles.

You'll also notice that Honda rarely sells to fleets because the margins are much lower. Looking long term at the direction of the industry as a whole (flat or decreasing volume), they are not expanding production of their cars and shifting focus to light trucks and SUV's.
