One of my old neighbors was on heroin when I was in middle school. I think at that point he had just graduated high school...I dont really remember. Anyways, it seriously fucked him up. I don't quite remember the story since it was so long ago, but I know his parents found him in his room with a loaded gun in his hand, and used needles next to him. It wasn't a good situation. He went through detox/rehab, and was clean for about 4 months...then started running with the old crowd...went on a downward spiral for the next 2 years, and it ruined his life.
