the other party's insurance company will be responsible for the value of your totaled car. sorry to break the news to you (especially after a loss), but a "clean ass gsr" to you is still "a regular acura integra gsr" to anyone else. sentimental value is never a factor in calculating the value of a totalled vehicle. unless the other party's insurance coverage is too low (as in if they only had like $5k for property damage liability), you're not gonna be suing anybody. as long as the other party's insurance is sufficient in covering the total value of your car, you dont really have much to "fight".

again, sorry to hear about the loss though.
