Thanks though, your the first person that has acutally offered any "Real" input on this one. Oh, what I am REALLY wondering though, is if I can take an obd1 motor and convert it to obd2 without severe hassle and problems down the road.

You can convert it, it's an emissions/electronics thing and as long as the hardware is correct, the engine will be fine.
