Do they go off your record automatically? Or do you have to file paperwork and get them expunged? I have no idea about law enforcement and convictions, so this is all new to me too.
i did some "accelerated rehabilitation" thing to get the misdemeanors off my record. that involved a year probation and 100 hours community service. but i did have to go to court twice, and spoke with a prosecutor and all.
