In terms of top speed, couldn't you simply check your speed at 1/2 redline in top gear and double that for your gear limited top speed? I think I calculated one time that my B18C1 swap would run out around 140 mph with that system.
Just doubling your speed wouldn'tgive you the most accurate results. I've plotted RPM vs. speed in 5th gear to calculate max RPM. The three points formed a slight curve, so it's not simply linear. A graphing calculator is an easy way to fit a curve and then extrapolate a value.
Anyway, I got about the same top speed as you with this method. I have a B18C1 with a B16 transmission.
