Engine oil and filter - replace
Fluid levels - top off all
Lube hinges, locks, latches, and hood cable
Front / Rear brakes - visual inspection
Transmission fluid - drain & refill
Lights - check operation
Clutch - adjust if applicable
Battery posts - inspect & clean
Fuel lines, tank, lines & connections - inspect
Spark plugs - replace (except platinum plugs)
Distributor cap & rotor - inspect
Tires - balance rear tires and rotate to front; adjust pressure & inspect tire wear pattern
Coolant system - Check level & test protection
Wiper blades - check operation & wear
Park brake - adjust & lube as needed
Front/Rear disc calipers & hoses
Air filter - inspect
Exhaust system - inspect
Suspension, struts & steering - inspect
Adjust valve clearance if applicable
Brake Fluid - replace and bleed system
Engine timing belt
inspect water pump & accessory drive belts for wear and damage.

and see the parents want to whip out the money but i was also thinking about getting something better out of the deal . and atleast have a project to work on while my car sits in the garage
