I believe the LS block does not have a block girldle right? Instead it has an oil tray. I am in the process of doing my LS VTEC, and I was told that it would be to my benefit if I install a block girdle. Now, my question is what is the purpose of the block girdle? Is it really to my benefit if I put it on with my set-up. All motor LS VTEC. If I decide to put on a block girdle, then I would not be able to also put on the oil tray, right? Any good ideas would really help me. Thanks!
