Sounds like a hit, from what you know. My attitude about buying a track car is since you're going to end up replacing and modifying so much stuff anyway, and since you're probably going to do most of the work yourself, it's not worth paying top dollar for a car in pristine condition. Idunno if you'll do the clutch yourself, but you'll score if you get a car for cheap because it has broken stuff that you can replace yourself and/or that you will end up replacing whether it's in good condition or not (like suspension).
