and to answer
you might just need to buy a new crankshaft pully and bolt is it loose? or is it tight it just wobbles?

it is tight in there, just wobbles a bit, and i dont believe i could get it to turn.
gonna go look for a guide now, thanks for the info.

actually does anyone know of a guide to replacing this?
Mine didn't go as far as causing the belts to jump/come off, but it did some serious damage to the timing belt cover.

Just untension the accessory belts, remove the crank bolt while someone is stepping on the brakes in 5th gear, and then replace the pulley. Put it all back together and it should fix the problem.
