Best Buy again plays the XBox game...

Creepy tactics could make customers not feel too comfortable...

Once again Best Buy is going down the XBox 360 route with leaking another memo stating they will be having another shipment tomorrow December 22nd. This time you have to be a detective to get your new XBox 360. Interestingly, the memo tells Best Buys employees not to issue rain checks after they run out of the product which makes no sense other than keep the customers coming back in every day! The plan is to remove any signs from storefronts that mention availability of the Xbox 360.

Ok here is the kicker, according to the memo be sure to use the magic phrase "I'm looking for an Xbox 360" when the door greeter asks, "What brings you in today," otherwise you might not be escorted to the "controlled sales area." Employees are supposed to keep the console's presence on the down low, both before and after its arrival.
i understand the need for a company to make money, but the ethical way to do it is not through deceptive practices. i've said this before, and this reaffirms that.. i will never buy anything from best buy again.
