Your cam has 3 lobes, the larger one is for vtec.

Im using a blockguard. They keep the sleeves from shifting, thats all. Small investment for a little more security. The do not prevent the sleeves from blowing out.

Only problem is that any pistons that "work with eagle rods" are $440-$700. So if I can skip this step, i'd prefer it.

On the vtec tho, i dont see how the valves can line up to it. I dont see how the cam can move over any.
