I have the h4 wired with the 3rd prong. 87 goes to the light, 30 to the battery, 85 to an ignition source, and 86 grounded. I have real day time running lights with this configuration from the outer bulbs. The headlight switch is in the off pos when they are on. They are about 50% intense.
But when I turn my headlights on, that mode shuts down and goes to regular old h4 mode (I think)
Anyway I got cool day time running lights that come on with the car and off with the car without all the lights being on.
