my brother's 89 civic lx has sprint lowering spring they are originally 2 1/2" down thats the most they make so he wanted to go lower so we cut 2 full rings so now the car is like 4" all around it looks good it handdles good and we have never scratch the so cal roads get tokico's too, the're good and they help u too in bumppy roads
those tokico's (although i like them) will only last maybe 4-5 months being dropped that low.
