Ditto. The Accord tranny has gearing for your mom and you'll shift out of VTEC every time. But if your engine doesn't come with a tranny, it will work in the meantime. Oh, and since the tranny is halfway between the crank and the wheels, I'd say it receives something short of the crank hp, although I'm not exactly sure.
Meanwhile, your Accord still won't handle like a Prelude unless you do some chassis tuning.
