I have an 2K EX manual. Normally I change the front pads every year and the rear every two years.
I've never heard of the rear wearing out before the front on any car with discs all around. Not saying you're lying or anything, but that is odd.
The majority of weight is transferred forward when stopping which is the reason why front pads wear faster than the rear
