I had just the opposite with the two Chrysler 300s I drove to Buffalo and Southern Jersey. In both commutes I put over 1000 miles on each car and have to say it was one of the nicest highway cars I have ever driven. And this was with the 2.7L V6. I found it smooth, effortlees in acceleration and supremely comfortable on those long drives.
Well I found the Charger to be horrendously slow, the steering artificial, and the seats pretty bad. Oh yeah and the rear view mirror was like a mile away. It was nowhere near my AV6 on the highway. The midrange power was simply not there.
