i think i would still love skiing but i only board now because i think its sooooooo much less hassle than dealing with 2 skis and poles, etc. and the boots are way more comfy

h: The first few times I boarded were with rentals, for some reason it was fine. After I got my own setup, it was a whole different story.
REI is the way to go for cheap deals on boots.
