Most bad cholesterol comes from bad genes. Foods do have an impact, and the best place to start is a good diet combined with a cholesterol management medication. Try and stay away from red meat and eat things like chicken, fish (tuna is excellent), and pork.

Start by cutting small things out, and then work your way up. You'll find that less food will fill you up faster and you'll have more energy. And I'm in no way saying your eating habits are bad, because you could be a health nut and just have bad genes.
