those aren't explicitly "mp3 players" that have video play back as an option. They are all-out portable entertainment centers, which I don't really need. Plus, they are quite a bit more than an iPod.

they run about the same price as the ipod video also you can only play certin formats of video on the ipod unlike the zen which lets you play pretty much any video type.
