I'm going to be the cold hearted realist and say "sell the car while you can."

If repairing the damage will mean selling the car with a "salvage" title, you'll have a hard time getting your money's worth out of the car. IMHO, it's better to sell now for 2500, take the $5.5K total and start anew, either with a DC4 / DB7 or DA9(?).

PS: If you felt like moving into the hybrid scene, you could snag a decent EF Civic for about a grand and lob your DC2's drivetrain under the hood... assuming the drivetrain is still useable. :rick:
