The cars (which I posted for reference in response to AcuraFanatic's inquiry) that are produced, or until recently have been produced, at Wixom ARE going out of style. But that doesn't mean that they necessarily have to close the plant.
Then again, Oklahoma thought that they could keep their GM plant open, but GM just said that the plant is shutting down on or before the first week of February 2006. No ifs, ands, or buts.
