and I prefer non-flip cellphones...I always have trouble flipping them open with one hand while I'm driving and trying to answer a call. Rather just pick mine up and answer. As for locking the keypad, that just becomes second nature after a while, I unlock and lock it without even thinking about it.
the only thing i look for in a flip is the ability to open it one handed, i can't open most the of the LG's one handed, so i opt for other alternative
it becomes easy to whip the phone to get it to open after you get used to it...
