I was driving on the expressway and while going up an entrance ramp the rmp's started to drop pulled off the road then car would not start back up could this be the alternator or starter? spark plugs? last tune up 2 yrs ago , starter replaced in 2000 alternator original I think .. any advice would be great the problem is in the distributor there is no spark ignition module tested its good , ignition coil tested its good , was told it was the crankshaft position sensor which is in the distributor that is not telling the ignition to spark, anyone heard of that? do you agree?
