i own a g3 ibook at the moment and i only paid 150 for it.. if the person i got it from didnt owe me money it would have been 300.. If i were you, i would go with a powerbook. they are a hell of a lot easier to upgrade and repair. Ibooks are very very propriatary, so if you have any problems you will have to take it to a mac dealer to get it fixed. other then that tho, stick with mac. osX is far more powerful than windows and you wont get a virus anytime soon.
