Compared to the Type R, yes the Type R is qutie a bit better than the North American Type S. However you also have to remember that Acura is looking to sell a decent daily driver (the Type S is a better daily driver) because of brand image and also because of practicality (i'm not sure how many people would want the 97 Octane Type R over here...).

In you're posts you seem like you think you're superior to us....like in the other thread where you laughed at the guy who had rattles and started off your post saying that it was because he was driving a rebadged Integra.
Yu and yur silly play on words.First they are not nearlly the same, and the engines are both K20A no 1 , 2 or 3 behind the A , when i open my bonnet of my car and peer at the stamping it says mainlly K20A thats for both the Type S and Type R here.they do that A2 A3 stuff there to keep yu busy. Your type S suspension is pretty much the same as the Type S offered in asia , not the Type R. And i dont seem to act superior because our cars are right drive JDM's, its all in your head. And after i made a comment, lol, i told the guy possible issues that caused rattles in ones i fixed here. And the Type R is 93 plus octane onlee.
