Pulling the instrument cluster in and of itself is simple since there are only four screws holding it in pace along with a couple of electrical connnectors.

The hard part is getting to trim panel off. To get the trim panel off you have to remove the console, ashtray, stereo, coin box, crusie control switch, panel dimmer, hazard switch, rear defroster switch and air vents to get to the 12 srews that hold the panel in place. I know that sounds like a lot, but once you have done it really isn't so bad. Had to pull mine to get to the air conditioning/heater control.

Do yourself a favor and get the Haynes manual. It's realtively cheap and it walks you through the hole process with lots of pictures.
