Default USDM Acura RSX Type S V/S the Asian Honda Integra

Why dont the american Acura RSX Type S stand up to the Asian(JDM) Honda Integra Type R. The suspension of the (my model 03 Integra Type R) and up are not as similar to the american RSX Type S as many may think. Why is the asian market Integra based solely on performance as it should(Type R) and american modle Acura RSX more about LUX, is it because the market Honda image has there Luxo Sport, if thats it the Type S id the same as the asian Integra Type S but with the engine more on par of the Integra R, but lacking the suspension and handling, minus a few ponies. Wuts yur guys idea on this?
