resale value = better
parts = cheaper
horsepower= can add much more to than vr6
repair = VERY MUCH cheaper


OVERALL GSR IS BETTER

with all do respect my gf's vr6 jetta has incredible low-end torque
however for modding gsr is much better bang for the buck
