a stock GS-R is supposed to run a 15.5
a stock VR6 is supposed to run a 15.1
You "Smoked it" because you've got earlier torque curves, and he probably didn't know how to drive his car.
the three time differences are minimal enough that you should be satisfied with your purchase of a GS-R homie... anyone who says they can FEEL less than half a second of a difference by guessing is either a liar, or a pro who wouldn't be asking questions as is.
