Read Car and Driver's review of the SRT8 from a few months back..... They actually consider it a better Mercedes than the Mercedes C320 AMG from which it's based! For 10 grand less.
The 300 series Chryslers are very nice. So, getting back on point, if they come out with this Challenger (complete with true manual) I may very well consider one.
I drove a 300C Hemi as well, and I was also amazed. I really wish they offeded an LSD and a full-DSC disable mode. Other than that, I made a 90 degree in 2nd gear and booted it, and the car just tucked right in. For all the talk of the DCX merger beung unsucessful, if this is what's to come, I expect the Challenger to make the CLK55 AMG cry like a little bitch.
