Plus you get to customize your engine, forged pistons, high performance connecting rods ect.... and the list goes on. Im not trying to call you out, but just because you "build" your motor yourself, does not mean it's gonna be 110% perfect. You better know what the hell you are doing. Granted, you can actually see what is going on, but doesnt mean a thing. You take your motor to a reputable builder, he will do it right. Also, either way you get to "customize" you motor w/ forged internals, all you have to do is buy them and have them drop em in. Unless however boreing, honing, sleeving, etc is necessary.
