This is why I have increasing respect for Joe Leiberman. He is the only Democrat that has stood by his assertions before the war, and while he may dislike some of the manner in which the war has been fought he has not once gone on record and claimed that President Bush lied or deceived the US to go to war. He knows what is right, he knows the intelligence was compelling, he knows there was more to going to war than just WMD, and he knows that parts of the intelligence were wrong and that alone does not mean any politician (Conressman, Senator, or President) lied because they believe what the US spy and intelligence experts were saying to them was true.
